The swim school of Eindhoven for 65 years
Essink Sportcentrum has been a trusted address for families in Eindhoven since 1961. What started as a local sports centre has grown into a complete family club where children from 7 weeks to 12 years old can enrol in baby swimming, toddler swimming and the full Swim-ABC programme.
As one of the few swim schools in the region, we are NRZ-certified. That means our teaching method, instructors and safety are assessed independently each year by the Dutch National Swim Safety Council.

Our instructors are specifically trained for this. We get into the water with your child and build trust step by step. Many children who start out afraid of water are jumping in on their own after just a few lessons.
It happens. Please let us know in advance so we can note the absence. Depending on availability, we can arrange a make-up lesson.
Swimwear, a towel, and optionally swim goggles. For beginners we recommend the EasySwim Pro swimsuit (available at our club). We take care of the rest.
Absolutely. Our sports café overlooks the pool so you can follow your child's progress with a cup of coffee. You won't miss a moment.
It varies per child and depends on their starting level, age and how often per week they swim. With 2x per week most children earn their diploma faster. We work with the 8-step dolphin plan so you can follow progress clearly.
